Portal, signing and output

How is Validate from Portal different from Validate in the editor?

Validate in an editor checks local fields. Validate from Portal fetches filed forms by acknowledgement and compares selected saved values.

Navigation: Open Forms 145/146 → Forms Dashboard → form list → select Submitted/Withdrawn records → Validate from Portal

How to do it

  1. For a draft's required-field checks, open its editor and use Validate where provided.
  2. For a filed-data comparison, return to the form list and select only Submitted or Withdrawn records.
  3. With the correct extension account connected, click Validate from Portal in the selection bar.
  4. Read MATCH, MISMATCH and ERROR results and download the CSV report for field-level differences.

What to expect

The comparison checks configured local fields against portal data; it does not upload, amend or certify the form.

Important details

  • The list button is hidden when the selection includes a draft or another ineligible status.
  • A missing acknowledgement or unavailable filed form is an error in this comparison flow, not a reason to repeatedly submit the draft.
