How do I import multiple forms from Excel?

The common wizard has Portal Config, Select Excel, Verify Data and Processing stages. Import to Drafts saves WrapTax records.

Navigation: Open Forms 145/146 → Forms Dashboard → Form 146 / 145 Part A / 145 Part D → Bulk Upload

How to do it

  1. Click Bulk Upload in the intended list and select Tax Year in Portal Config.
  2. For portal-profile mode, use the correct extension account; in Form 146 enter/search the remitter PAN and Fetch the profile information.
  3. If portal credentials are unavailable, use Click here to upload Static Excel, download/fill/upload the static template; the Form 146 Enter Manually button is currently Coming Soon.
  4. Click Confirm & Continue, upload the transaction workbook in Select Excel, then Preview Mapped Data.
  5. In Verify Data choose Import to Drafts, review the row preview, click START PORTAL IMPORT and confirm the credit/action dialog.
  6. After processing, open the created drafts in the list. Save Draft to Portal and DSC signing are separate subsequent actions.

What to expect

Successful rows receive WrapTax Form IDs; item errors are reported. Choosing Download ZIP instead does not create these local draft records.

Important details

  • Despite the wizard's portal-oriented wording, its Import to Drafts operation saves local drafts; do not treat it as a successful external filing.
  • Do not rerun a partly successful workbook without identifying records already created.
